Yoga and gas?

First of all, I absolutely love yoga. I've been doing it for a long time now (3 years), but in the last 8 months or so I've been doing it a lot more intensively (1 hr, 3x per week or more).
For me, I've always found that yoga has helped even back when I was having "mysterious stomach problems" - especially forward bends or anything that rests your chest to your knees etc.
Anyway, sometimes I find that I get gassy a little bit in yoga, but it's kind of a relieving gas, if you know what I mean? Not painful, just kind of like my body is relaxing and stretching out and releasing. Luckily it's not loud or ahem, smelly gas so I don't have to deal with that embarassment in class!
Anyone else get this?

I get the same exact thing when I do yoga! I believe it is because the positions aid in the digestion process and the release of toxins from the body. Especially those twisting poses! Squeezes all the junk right out of you!! -Katy

Absolutely...but like you, not "smelly" or "noisy". (I don't think anyway ) Although I have heard it escape from other people during classes. Now that's got to be embarrassing!
