I have been told I have fibro, but not under any doctors care for it at this time. Would yoga be for me? I also heard it is good for bladder pressure and bloating. Anyone in the Cleveland, OH area know of a reputable yoga class?

Yoga is GREAT for Fibro! Just don't push it if you're having a bad day. Either go to classes and let the instructor know about the Fibro so you can let her know when it's a bad day, or do it at home (it's best to go to at least some classes b/c even with a DVD or flashcards it's possible to do the poses completely wrong if you don't know better and you can hurt your muscles doing that).

I use Cyndi Lee's Om Yoga In a Box and it's wonderful for a Fibromite as the CD lesson is split into sections that you can mix and match. So if it's a very bad day, I might just do warm-up and relaxation.

It's very important with Fibro to keep moving (w/out overdoing the exercise) or you'll stiffen up and feel worse so yoga is GREAT!
