tai chi

just curious...has anyone tried tai chi and if so has it helped or is yoga just recommended for relief of symptoms? I have crohns, a mild case compare to some of you but still get killer pains and would like to know if this form of exercise would be benificial...I know any exercise is beneficial...any response would be helpful ! thanks

Hi! I have done Tai Chi for several years now. I would say if you are a person whose IBS worsens during stress, then Tai Chi can be very helpful. It calms the mind and sooths the spirit,which in turn seems to calm the tummy. It certainly can't hurt!! Good luck! Linda

Hi - both yoga and tai chi and have been found to be very helpful for digestive disorders. There's a ton of info here web page
