I can't wait for class tonight. I missed last week since we were out of town on our Anniversary trip. I did my weight training class last night so my arms have had some time to rest before all those downward dogs! LOL I'm gonna ask her if she can incorporate in the " pigeon " tonight so I can get that good stretch in my upper thighs that relaxes me so much.

Downward Dog got to be my absolute favorite...maybe because I got so good at it, and it made me feel like my legs got the best stretch ever!!!

because of the great stretch/twist combination - it feels like it's opening up my whole side, waist, back - everything! And I love the standing warrior poses on days I'm feeling strong, because I start to really feel the pose as a hip opener, which is wonderful. For just plain relaxing I like the reclining bound angle pose where the soles of my feet are together, knees apart, and I lie all the way back with my hands over my head. I really love this at the end of the workout - I've actually fallen asleep in this pose!
Now I'm all psyched up for tonight's class....

Oh yes....the triangle pose is a GREAT one...and we always do that one in my class.
I was also able to do camel pose for the 1st time all the way last week too.
Reclining bound angle pose sounds great too.... I've not done that one yet.

And twisted triangle is like that...and more! I just love all the twists...then again, I fall into the C column most of the time.
