Okay, so I like to eat chocolate, ice cream, and other candy goods. But it is not good for me, at all. So does anyone know any good sweets that won't trigger ib sor hurt my tummy? Thanks.

has a entire chapter devoted to deserts. The peppermint cake is especially good and there even a recipe for chocolate icecream. The recipe index also has plenty of recipes for sweet goods http://www.helpforibs.com/messageboards/ubbthreads/recipe_index.php.
You can also by dairy free low fat soy/rice ice cream at any decent grocery store. Sorbets are also good as they don't contain fat.

oh yes! Don't we all love sweets? I have found a lot of things that I can eat, some of my favorites are: - Biscotti - Homemade Oatmeal/peanut butter bars (I have recipe on my blog w/ other ideas at http://www.eatandbe.com ) - 1 small square of dark chocolate (after a meal) - One of my absolute faves 1/2 half a Toasted English muffin (soluble fiber!) w/ 1 Tbsp. almond butter and a sprinkling of Semi-sweet chocolate chips (oh man, as I write this I am getting hungry!) I could go on and on...I update my blog regularly with my diet and recipe ideas. Those are the first ones that come to my mind but I have many more. You don't have to give up sweets, just don't eat too much at once and be careful what you choose (stay away from cream for sure!) - Kim
