I am wondering if by me pureeing my insoluble fiber food if that makes it a lot easier for me to digest. I know to have soluble fiber first and I have been taking my hand mixer and pureeing everything. I know that different foods affect us all different, but am curious since I am really new to the IBS world.
Thank you for your help!

Hi - Yes, pureeing insoluble fiber foods will make them much more tolerable for IBS. So will cooking these foods, or finely chopping/diceing them, and so will combining them with soluble fiber.

Thank you so much Heather for getting back to me so quickly. I also want to thank you for putting those two great books out that I can't put down (reading them both at the same time! ) I am REALLY looking forward to you future cookbooks, especially since I will be starting culinary school at Seattle Central in the fall. Now I have to learn how to make my breads and pastries to meet my IBS diet. That and I read recipe books like novels. Is there any tricks to changes recipes to suite my IBS needs or does it just come with a little time?
Thank you again!
