Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore - try this one Tess!

1 large onion thinly sliced 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts 2 6 oz cans tomato paste (or a large can of crushed tomatoes) 8 oz. sliced mushrooms 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp pepper 2 cloves garlic 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp/ basil 1 bay leaf 1/4 cup dry white wine (or substitute with water) 1/4 cup water (if you used the crushed tomatoes, omit) Put sliced onion in bottom of Crock Pot. Add chicken breasts. Mix all other ingredients together and pour over chicken. Cook low 7-9 hours or high 3-4 hours. Serve with pasta. 4 servings - taken from Rival Crock Pot recipe book 300 Calories per serving 3 grams fat 45 grams protein 99 mg cholesterol

Is this one better with the crushed tomatoes or the tomato paste? Is it really the huge can of crushed tomatoes?
