Mags, I made your fudge again, and boy is it good! I put a few pecans in and like you decreased the amount of soy garden. I'm sharing some with a friend who tries to followo low fat diets, so I'm waiting to hear how he likes it. Thanks for the recipe!

Here it is! Mags thought she could hide it from me. HAH!
"I got this from The McDougall Quick & Easy Cookbook. It didn't really come out firm like fudge, more of a thick sauce. Then again, it didn't really have a chance to cool. My boyfriend & I used it as a dip (like a chocolate fondue) for bananas. It was GOOD!!! It said it made 2 servings, but we each used it & had some left. It still hasn't firmed up, but it was still good. Definitely satisfies the chocolate craving!
3 T low-fat soy milk 3 T carob powder (The recipe said you could use cocoa--that's what I used.) 6 T sugar 1 tsp cream of tartar 1/2 tsp vanilla dash of salt
Combine all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 60 seconds. Stir, let rest for 30 seconds, microwave on high for 10 seconds, let rest for 30 seconds; repeat the 10- and 30-second cycle two more times. Let cool and enjoy."
Lets GOFERIT, Marjo!

So, Joan, did you get it to "firm up" a little? Or did you eat it like a dipping sauce as Mags did?
I am SOOOO gonna try this! (Gee, I just thought -- I sure hope Gerry isn't reading this; I don't wanna tempt her.)

I'm a chocaholic, so I am in big trouble over this one, and with bananas, that sounds SOOOOO good. I just happen to have the ingredients too........ Must try it.

Actually it was her other fudge recipe that isn't a dipping sauce. It firms up very nicely all on its own and is very tasty.

Nope, that isn't the one. I don't like carob powder. I'll look for it and put it up.
