I think it might be a WNY thing . Chiavetta chicken fundraisers are very popular in the area and there so good. Here is the web page . It's a vinegar based maninade that I can easily find in the grocery store. It looks like you can order it online at this web page , click on the Chiavetta's link. I just noticed they make wing sauce with NO butter or oil that I will have to find. We sometimes try to do Buffalo wings with chicken tenders using Frank's hot sauce. It's so yummy but it's usually the spice is calmed with butter so we are still trying to figure out a lower fat non dairy option.

Thanks Torbetta!!! It sounds really yummy, but I can't do dairy at all. Could you let me know when you find the non-dairy version?

The marinade doesn't have any dairy in it. I'm sorry if my tangent made it seem like there was. I will have to re-read it again.
LOL, I just re-read it. I missed the no dairy in the wing sauce. That really does make a big difference, doesn't it?

I din't even notice...hee hee! How spicey is the sauce? I love a little spice, but not so much that I sweat.

Frank's hot sauce is hot. We love to put it on mashed potatoes. We used to put it on popcorn when I could eat it. I have no idea about the Chiavette's since that is the first time I have seen it.
