Another thing to the pile of things I miss, chili. I've seen some turkey chili recipies on here but wondering still how safe they are. All I know is beans are a big no-no for a lot of people with IBS.
What do you do to make it safer?

I make chili occasionally but know that I and whoever else eats it will probably be gassy. Some things that might help: use black beans rather than kidney and just one can have some nice Heather's cornbread with it and soy cheese and soy sour cream take beano before if tomatoes are a problem try some baking soda in it

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

You can also try serving it over rice. Sounds weird but it's very good. Supposedly people in Cincinnati (I think it is) eat their chili over spaghetti.
