I tried it today and it came out perfect!
1. one cup sugar, one cup water and 3 cups blackberries (or any other kind of berries, works as well) in a medium size pot.
2. Boil for 30 min.
3. pour mix to a glass bowl(through a strainer) and use the syrup in the bowl as pancake syrup.
Got it from the "cooking for real" show <3

Use 1/3 cup water, 1/3 cup sugar, and the 1 cup blackberries. Use a small saucepan and keep an eye on it, because that small amount of syrup can boil over quickly.

Hi aperson! I made this syrup acouple of times, and I keep it in an empty pancake syrup bottle. I dont know how long it lasts fresh but I it lasted me for more than a week. It's a great recipe and i used it as topping for cakes, oatmeal and afcurse pancakes.
