This actually took less than 20 mins! And my BF loved it! I adapted it from a recipe on ontariomaple.com.
1/2 cup (125 ml) maple syrup 2 Tbsp (30 ml) cider vinegar (I used rice wine vinegar) 2 Tbsp (30 ml) sherry (I used chicken broth) 2 Tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce 2 tsp (10 ml) ground ginger 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp (2 ml) pepper 1/4 tsp (1 ml) paprika 4 chicken breasts Flour for dredging Combine all ingredients except chicken & flour. Marinate chicken for a few mins. Dredge chicken in the flour. Saute on medium heat in nonstick pan sprayed w/Pam until cooked all the way through.
I only made 2 chicken breasts, but made the full amount of marinade. I used 1/2 on the chicken & drizzled the other half over cooked whole wheat spaghetti & also some green beans. It was kind of like lo mein!

I made this, its good. So you put raw chicken in the sauce to marinate the chicken then dumped that sauce on noodles? That sounds kinda gross..would it kill everything If I saved the sauce in a container overnight then heated it up really hot in the microwave?

I read it as you soak the chicken in 1/2 the marinade, and use the other half (which hasn't touched any raw chicken) on the noodles.

You might make sure the chicken is just lightly coated with the flour, and try adding just a teaspoon or two of oil to the pan along with the sprayed oil.
Other than that, maybe just turn the heat down to medium low. Ranges vary a lot in the strength of the burners, so medium on one person's range might be a lot hotter (or lower) on another person's.
Best, H
