Oatmeal cookies made a very different way

1/2 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup canola oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt, combine and mix well. In another bowl mix 1 1/4 cup roller oats, 1 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Put rounded teaspoonfuls on a oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.

I would do 1/4 cup applesauce and 1/4 cup oil. Or all applesauce, depending on how much you like it!

Made these cookies the other day..mmm good..bit bland though...added raisins to them..next time I think I will add maybe 1/4 applesauce & 1/4 oil..and cinnamon!! for extra flavour . also maybe flatten them a bit because mine were like mounds unless with the applesauce they will flatten? not sure...any ways good recipe and will make again.
