Some one gave me the idea of useing ground turkey some fresh tomatoes and ketchup and macaroni ( I guess noodles)to make a skillet dinner . Is there anything else I can add to this with maybe more flavor. I don't do well with seasonings any ideas? Thanks emmasmom ibs-c gas

You could use chili powder and paprika and make a goulash-type dish. I would skip the ketchup, personally. Partially because I think it's gross and partially because I would want it more savory than sweet.

I agree with the ketchup. There are a couple of vegtables that may work. For a more traditional (and quick) taste you could put in fresh carrots, peas and beans. Depending on what you handle for veggies you may want to try asparagus tips, broccoli/cauliflower or some root vegtables (yellow zucchini or squash). I don't handle tomatos well so I would move towards roasting the veggies before I mix them in. My choice would be to add some mushrooms, peppers and zucchini to the tomatos while roasting. If you are okay with garlic I suggest throwing a few pieces of garlic on the pan as well to increase flavour. I hope that helps!

I cooked up some turkey buger with just some salt so it won't stick. I add some chicken stock or broth just a stir around the pan couple of times. I add 1 half of a celery in pices and cooked it a little I pureed 1/2 half of a can of carrots 2 or 3 beets and added this in.I added salt and pepper to taste and 1/3 cup ketchup! I cooked this until almost all the broth was gone. Then I add some cooked noodles and stir this up! It was so good dh and I both had seconds! I served this with breadsticks and some green beans. Yum! Enjoy we did! emmasmom ibsc- gas
