Peanut Butter?

I'm new to this board, not new to IBS, but I've actually never researched it before. So anyway, one thing I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is peanut butter. Is peanut butter an okay thing to have on this diet??

I can't do it but I know some can and there was a recipe for tortilla shell with a tbsp of pb spread on it. You could try it.

I can do it in VERY small quantities. I measure out 1 tablespoon and try to use even less if possible. I also really like almond butter which I believe has less saturated fat (I may have just made that up though...). I also stick to less than one tablespoon on a big piece of bread (for soluble fiber). Good luck!

I can eat it okay, but we eat the PB that has only peanuts and salt, no added oils or sugars. My son has similar digestive issues and he eats PB every day!
