Taken from Westsoy soymilk container.
2 cups unbleached flour 1/2 t each baking soda and salt 2 t baking powder 1/2 T sugar 1/4 cup soy butter, cut into chunks 1/2 cup currants or 1 t lemon zest 3/4 cup soymilk
Preheat over to 425. In a large bowl combine dry ingredients. Stir until well mixed. Add margarine and rub with your fingers until coarse crumbs form. Add currants or lemon zest and stir. Add soymilk and stir until dry ingredients are evenly moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead 12 turns. Pat dough into a 6-7" circle and place on a greased baking sheet. Score loaf with a knife into 8 equal wedges. Bake until well browned, about 25 minutes.

Want to make this recipe today, but confused by the specification of "1/2 T sugar" - I always thought 't' meant teapsoon, but surely a scone recipe needs more sugar than that?
Help from anyone really appreciated!!
