My kindergartener is studying how different cultures celebrate Christmas and yesterday and today they are studying Hanukkah.
They watched a video on how Matzo crackers are made. I thought it would be fun to surprise the class tomorrow with matzo crackers.
Do either of you have a good recipe on how to make matzo crackers?
Thanks, Barb

Hmmm...
I don't have a recipe.
You can buy them at the store. Look for a brand called Tam Tam. They make crackers. They should actually be IBS safe too (the eggless kind!) Good luck!

P.S. Matzoh is basically bread that is unleavened or has not risen all the way. If you do a search on google, if you really want to make it instead of buying it, you may be able to find a recipe there. HTH!

I don't have one... You can buy then, however, in the kosher section of your grocery store. Maybe Ruthie will be of more luck! **Best** Shanna

Thanks I'll check google for a recipe. I know I can buy it, but my kids love to help me in the kitchen and it is also a good learning experience for them.

here is a link to some IBS safe (traditional Jewish recipes) posted a while back, just in case you are interested: http://ibscrohns.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.heathercooks.com%2F

I found the recipe yesterday searching google (instead of studying for my Chemistry final ) and found it. I made it last night and my boys loved poking hole in the dough. My son's (Aaron) teacher was thrilled about getting the bread this morning and she will have Aaron tell the class on how we made it.

My Chem final is next Tuesday. If I want an A in the class I have to get a 100% on the final. My grade is a 87% right now I really want my A. Yes, I know a b+ is good, but an A is better.
When are finals over for you?

Good luck on your finals, Shanna and Barb! I'm so happy, I don't have a single final this semester. I just had some papers and projects, and they're all done now except for a poster presentation tonight. And after that I'm on vacation for a month, woohoo! Don't worry, soon you'll be done, too!
