Hello all,
I recently made FAT-FREE cinnamon rolls using my bread machine and oven! They are gooey and sort of chewey. If you like cinnamon rolls, but can't eat them due to the fat...then these rolls are for you!
FAT-FREE CINNAMON ROLLS
In your bread machine, add the following and set it for DOUGH (do not bake it in the machine): 1 c. water 3 c. white flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. yeast 2 TBL. sugar (optional) 1 tsp. canola oil
Once the dough is ready, roll out into a 12"x15", or so, on a lightly floured surface. In a small bowl mix: 1c. brown sugar (I use dark) 2 tsp. vanilla 2 TBL. cinnamon 2 Tbl. cold water Spread the cinnamon mixture over the bread dough. Roll up lengthwise (the filling sort of oozes out). Try to pinch the dough to keep the rolls together. Cut into 8 equal pieces. Spray a baking sheet with Pam, and lay out the rolls, keeping a little space in between. Bake at 375 deg's for 20-25 minutes, until golden. If desired you may mix powdered sugar with a little rice/soymilk and drizzle over warm rolls. Yum Yum!

These sound great! I've been looking for a good bread machine recipe. I think I'll make these for breakfast tomorrow

Well, I don't have a bread machine, but I'm still gonna give this a try. It sounds great!

They are sooo good! I am such a cinnamon lover, and these are so nice and sweet! If you knead the dough for maybe 15 minutes, then let it rise (about an hour), then it should be just fine. You may want to get a bread machine. I use mine all the time. I am actually on my second one...I killed my first one from overuse. They are great for pizza crusts too! You can get them really cheap, and hardly ever used, at a second hand shop. I recently got a third one for $6, and it looks brand new!
I hope you like the rolls! I am all out...I need to make more!

I've been making dough for so long w/o a bread machine. I really don't think much of getting one. I use my dough hooks and let the dough rise for a while - always comes out good. I'm sure eventually I'll invest in a machine sooner or later, especially if these rolls don't come out right.

Made these this weekend! They were phenomenal!!! Hubby and I loved them. I even got to finally try the dental floss trick for cutting dough without smushing it. Worked great! Thanks for the great recipe.
