I've never had it before. Does it taste much different from regular rice? Any special yummy recipes that use it?

Jasmine rice is just a regular white rice, but it tends to have more "flavor". It's just a really nice aroma, and it is so delicious with Asian dishes. I don't make any special recipes with it, I just use it as a side item with fish or a base for things like stir-fry. We eat it a lot!

It definitely tastes different, but a good different - it's flavorful and aromatic, that's the best way I can describe it. If you're anything like me, you'll never want to eat plain rice again once you've had it!
I mostly eat it with stir-fries and curries. I just had it recently with Sweet and Sour Meatballs, which is one of my all-time favorite comfort-food dishes. If you want to serve it as a side dish with something like baked chicken, but give it a little more flavor, it would work perfectly in Basmati Rice with Onion and Ginger - even though it's not basmati rice, it has a similar flavor and aroma.

It is also a sticky rice so it's great for sushi rolls. I do love the flavor and use it for most of my rice dishes. It is quite a bit higher in calories so I alternate with plain white rice when I'm watching my calories.

That sweet and sour meatball recipe looks great! I'll give it a try.
