thawing frozen bread?

I made 2 loaves of the brown sugar banana bread & froze one of them. What's the best way to thaw it? I have it sitting out on the counter right now, but I'm afraid it will get soggy if I leave it like that.

That's what I do. Leaving it out one night usually does the trick. You can also defrost breads in the microwave, but I don't like to mess with that because it's possible to dry them out!

I usually have mine in Ziploc bags so when I thaw it out I leave the bag open a little bit so that the extra moisture can dissipate while it thaws and I find this prevents soggy bread quite well.
