Does anyone know how much graham cracker crumbs would equal 8 graham crackers? I have graham crumbs but not whole crackers and I am trying to make the crust for the Better than Cheesecake recipe.

14 graham cracker squares = 1 cup finely crushed crumbs
I believe the Better Than Cheesecake recipe calls for 8 *whole* graham crackers, so that would be 16 squares, so 1 cup crumbs plus about another 1/7 cup crumbs if my math is right. Call it 1-1/8 cups crumbs and if it seems too loose add an extra sprinkle of crumbs.

Thanks for the info! The cake is in the oven now and does it ever smell good. I can't wait to try it with blueberry topping.

It turned out great! thanks for asking. It's great to know I don't have to totally give up on such sinful desserts. Hooray for creative substitution!! What a great way to use my summer blueberries!
