Hi all.
I'm having a really bad week with my IBS this week, and haven't left the house for days, sufferering with lots of pain, bloating, wind, D, etc. But...
I promised my partner I would cook him a nice (IBS safe) meal tonight, as he's been great this week. However, as I've not been shopping for a while I don't have much in. All I have is 2 chunky Turkey Steaks. What can I do to make these more interesting?
I have most IBS-diet ingredients in - herbs, garlic, honey, soya spread, etc etc, but have no ideas. I need to get the meal ready for about 7pm UK time (GMT = 6 hours ahead of New York, eg). I've decided to do the Crispy Potato Wedges and froozen peas with whatever I make. (Any ideas to jazz up boring old peas would be great too...!! )
Anyone's help would be really appreciated!!
Thanks in adavance,

Why not make sugared peas, by adding a little honey or brown sugar to the peas after cooking them?
Or even throw in some fresh herbs on the potato wedges while they are roasting, to give them a lovely flavor.
Use the herbs on the turkey as well...why not bbq it?
There are so many ideas floating around here on the recipe board, just click a few recipes to get some great tips.
