Black Bean Hummus
2 cups cooked or canned black turtle beans or black beans 2 tbsp liquid from the beans 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp tamari sauce 2 clove garlic, chopped 1/2 tsp ground cumin pinch cayenne pepper 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Combine beans, liquid, lemon juice, tamari, garlic, cumin and cayenne in a bowl of food processor, or blender, and puree until smooth. Add parsley and blend for 5 seconds.

a sauce made from soybeans, similar to soy sauce but thicker and made without any wheat. You can get it in the grocery store, usually in the "ethnic foods" (hate that term! lol) section. Or at an HFS probably. You could probably substitute soy sauce for it in this recipe, though it might make the consistency of the hummus more watery.
