Hello All
Does anyone know if you just use egg whites for a pizzelle recipe if it would work? I've only made them w/ egg yolks. I am afraid they will not adhere in the iron.

I had them confused with something else, that was fried. Heh.

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure how they'd come out with egg whites. I don't think there would be a problem with the consistency of the batter, though, so why not give them a try? Maybe start with a half- or quarter-batch, if you can, so you don't waste too many ingredients if they come out terrible. LOL!

A lot of IBS-safe cooking is experimenting. You never know till you try it!

a coworker makes the most amazing pizzelles and she always feels sorry I can't have any.. if I can get her a recipe thats safe for me she said she'd try it!
