I have looked all over this website and no one gives an actual receipe to follow. I am looking for a safe fruit salad receipe. I am not prone to HFCS. There is just no Thanksgiving without it. I love for it to have marshmallowas, oranges, grapes, pecans and cherries but are theses ok to eat without cooking? And what is a safe whip cream to use? Please help.

Well, a lot of it depends on how you do with IF from fresh fruit. Personally, all of that would be fine for me, but I eat raw fresh fruit every single day, at least twice a day. I'd like to think that you'd be ok with a little salad after a good amount of SF with the rest of the meal, but I don't know what stage of the diet you're in, and how much IF you typically eat.

If you can handle the IF, then it would be pretty simple to make safe-ish. Marshmallows are perfectly safe, so those are good. I'd go easy on the pecans - half to a quarter of what the original recipe calls for, depending on how much that is - and Cool Whip would be a good substitute for the whipped cream, as long as small amounts of dairy derivatives don't bother you either.

If you have a specific recipe, I can probably just try to modify it for you, rather than giving vague suggestions like that.
