Basic Cinnamon Tea

1 Cinnamon stick 1 Cup boiling water
In a mug insert cinnamon stick add boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. Let cool to luke warm and enjoy.
Did you know?? Cinnamon is used for treating upset tummies and help in Diarrhea, it can also help with colds and nausea and vomiting.

Thanks! Got the idea from a herbal remedy booklet I picked up in my local food store. I love cinnamon to and used to have it in my coffee over a year ago. Glad you liked it.

Ooo, I am so going to try this when I get home. I am a cinnamon ADDICT! I can't resist the hot wine when I go skiing which has cinnamon sticks in it.

I would not put the grounds directly in the water.... he gounds will not disolve and I think would just float on the top of the water and taste/feel funny when you drink it.
So, maybe you could put some in a cheesecloth tied with string and use like a tea bag? Still might be a little bitter.... so you may need to sweeten with honey or something...

If you heat powdered cinnamon it acts like cornstarch, gives a very "snotty" consistency to things. You would want to try putting it in a make shift tea bag.
