Are flapjacks the same as pancakes? I always thought they were, so if so, there are a number of safe recipes in the breakfasts section of the recipe index. And if I'm totally wrong and they're not the same thing, then hopefully someone else can be more helpful.

Flapjacks here in the UK are a mixture of porridge oats, margarine, demerara sugar and golden syrup. I had already looked at the recipes on site before I posted my querie.

In that case, I found this recipe: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,174,144185-238206,00.html If you substitute soy margarine for the butter, it should be pretty safe... although I definitely can't vouch for authenticity.
