College dorm

Can anyone reccomend a few recipies that I can make in my dorm with the following conditions:
1) I keep kosher, so any meat+milk, shellfish, etc. is out
2) I'm cutting back on my meat intake since I'm still an IBS newbie
3) I'm a college student. Which means that while I'm not on a extremely tight budget, I can't buy things that I'll only use once.

Hi and welcome. First, check out this thread from a little while ago: thread.
Next, you might want to re-post this in the "IBS Diet" room, as it gets a lot more traffic than the recipe boad, especially for this type of question.
You should also take a look through the recipe index. Most of the recipes are going to be kosher since none contain dairy (so no meat and milk problem). Just skip over any that contain shellfish and you should be in good shape. (I have a limited understanding of Kosher eating but others on the board keep kosher -- I think Ruchie does).
Ok, now relax and realize that you're goign to be fine -- there are lots of people here who will have lots of good suggestions for you.
