Heather has some in Eating for IBS, but I haven't tried any yet. I'm dying to try her black bean dip, and I've also heard the Sweet Mango and Roasted Tomato Salsa is good.

The following recipe is adapted from the book _The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet_ that my mom had out of the library. (I hate low-carb diets and all they stand for...but the recipe sections can yield some nice surprises!) Anyway, try it with Baked Lays. As for the Baked Tostitos, I believe I've already posted salsa and guacamole recipes--try the index?
Cool Summer Dip
1/2 cup soy sour cream such as Tofutti Sour Supreme 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh basil, or 1/2 teaspoon dried 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Combine the ingredients, mixing well. Makes about 1/2 cup.

The black bean dip in Heather's book is delicious - and easy. I serve it to family and friends with baked chips, chopped avocados, and salsa when I have to take a dish to pass, or make it and eat it for lunch a few days. Yummy!

mmmmm, hummus is great...it is chickpeas blended into a dip with various ingredients such as garlic and spices..there are probably lots of various hummus recipies on the recipe index...however here is one for you:
Easy Hummus: 1 Can Chick Peas (Garbanzo beans) reserve liquid from can. about 1-2 Jalepeno peppers (chopped) 1/2 tsp. cumin 2 Tbsp lemon Juice 3 cloves of garlic
(you can also add a small amout of olive oil if you wish) Simply combine all ingredients PLUS 1 TBSP reserved liquid in a food processor...you can later add more liquid if you want it to be smoother.
I like it served on pita break, but crackers are great too...
