Hey everyone, I know I've been off the boards the last couple of weeks, especially my beloved living room. I've had a busy couple of weeks. I sublet my apartment a couple of weeks ago, and have been all over NY, NJ, MA, and PA. My tummy has not enjoyed the traveling at all, and I had my most severe D episode in recent history -- at my boyfriend's parents' house! Let's just say it's a good thing they have a bathroom on the 3rd floor! The good news is my tummy is starting to settle down again. My acacia finally arrived and I've been adjusting to that. My SOYFEE showed up and I LOVE it. It's amazing. Order some ( www.soycoffee.com ). And also my IBS 100 CDs showed up, and I will start them as soon as I get on a routine. I am leaving for London on Sunday (sooner if I can get an earlier flight)! I am really excited to spend the summer there, but also super anxious about living in the dorms, sharing a bathroom, not being able to cook for myself, and living in the same city as my boyfriend for the first time ever. It's kind of a lot to deal with all at once. Everyone assumes I am anxious about getting used to a new city and all that, but after living in Spain for 6 months and Manhattan for 10, I think I can pretty much handle anything. Mostly I'm just hoping my tummy will behave, and that my boyfriend and I will still enjoy each other's company after being together every day for 7 weeks. I worked out today and got an incredible massage, the kind where they really dig into your muscles, so I am feeling a little less tense. Too bad I decided to get on the scale afterwards, especially during PMS. I saw a pretty unfamiliar number and was not happy. Hopefully I'll shed it this summer. ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif) Unfortunately my dinner plans were spoiled when my best friend (who I never see) insisted on bringing along her annoying boyfriend, even though she's been cheating on him for a month. Man did I feel awkward! He also makes fun of my food restrictions, which you know really makes me feel good. On the upside, I've been at home keeping my dad company while my mom is in Miami helping my grandmother move. My dad and I never have this much one-on-one time, and we are getting along really well. Last night I made him an amazing dinner as an early fathers' day present -- duck with a delicious sauce (don't worry, I ate salmon!). Okay really I know nobody is this interested in what is going on in my life, but I feel bad for being so out of touch. I've been reading the boards while staying at everyone else's house, but I haven't had time to sit down and give everyone an update. I don't think I'll have too much internet access this summer, but I'll read and post when I can! I hope you are all having happy tummies!
Spicey -- How's it going, living with the 'rents and doing the long-distance thing?
UnhappyTummy -- I'm glad you are leaving the pub, but I guess that means I can't swing by for a beer (or an iced tea, in our case) this summer.
Bevrs -- You are crazy not to like the Dark Roast. It's the best. Send me your leftovers!
Everyone else -- I hope all is well!!!!
Love, Panda

Hey Amanda Panda!
I've seriously missed chatting with you! But i'm glad you're having a great time. I hope you have tons of fun and I hope you and your boyfriend have a great time together. things with the parents are lonely to say the least, but I just got another job.
Me and Vinnie aren't fairing as well.. I have a post in the living room about it now so I won't rewrite it.. but I think we're falling apart and I'm devastated.
Anyways, keep in touch.. and fun and post when you can!

Hey Panda Girl!
Wow, your life is crazy! I could never travel around like that - I'd just keel over somewhere.
SoyCoffee will be winging it's way to me just as soon as I can work out how to get it shipped over here! I WANT some.
Maybe us London-area-based girls should meet up this summer? Enjoy this crazy city and come visit if you want some quieter times.

Isn't it odd how our tummies just don't tolerate traveling? I avoid travel at all cost.
I'm glad you're back, Ms. Panda, and glad your tummy's calming down. Just in time for the London trip, eh? Hey! I just thought about our Linzy; she can't get SoyFee over there -- maybe you could take her a little? See how generous I am with your time?
And speaking of which, I gave you the wrong impression. I DO like the Dark Roast, it's just too strong for me -- so I have to add soy milk to it, which I don't have to do with the Original Roast.
Have you tried any of the other flavors? Mocha is good too, but I still like the Original Roast best. I just ordered French Vanilla, House Blend, and Chai; I'm anxious to try all of them. Then I'll choose my fave and order two 5-lb. bags (to save on the shipping charges).
Sorry we won't be hearing much from you this summer, but I'm sure you'll be having fun in London Land. (Don't forget to take your SoyFee with you!) I'll be gone a lot as well, moving into our new home -- very soon now.....
Have a great summer Amanda!
Bev

Oh Peaches I love your enthusiasm. You are just the cutest. I am going to London because I am a hopeless romantic and I miss my man. My boyfriend has lived in London for about a year now, and I have the opportunity to do a summer study abroad in international law through Notre Dame, at the University of London. So, it's a great excuse to spend 8 weeks in the same city as my boyfriend. I'll be living in the dorms, which I'm not looking forward to, but everything else should be great. I am brining my laptop but I am not expecting an internet connection. I can get online at my boyfriend's place so hopefully I'll be in touch. What are you doing this summer? xo, Panda

Hi Bev! I'm glad you like the soyfee too. It's so darn good! Too bad Linz and I didn't coordinate sooner about the Soyfee ... it's too late now for me to order more! But, if I run out while I'm there and my parents have to ship some to me, I'll be sure to get her order too. Yeah my tummy is doing a little better, and I just had an amazing lunch. I am at home in NJ and my dad took me out to eat. Well not only was the place a really pretty old mansion from the 1800's, but get this ... they had an entirely separate vegetarian menu, and even indicated which items were dairy free! I was so happy. I didn't have to make any special requests, but I'm sure they would have been very accommodating. It's so nice to be able to eat my meal calmly and not worry about anything! Well my mom is away so I am taking care of my dad -- poor guy can't even do laundry -- so I need to get back to my chores ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif) Love and hugs, Panda
