I'm feelin' better already.

I use Victorias Secret Shimmer Powder!!! Wow, how do I love this stuff!!!
Nothing between the legs Bev, I do use just enough baby powder between the thighs. Works fine!!!
After all of this, I have not considered my fab. softener, period. What an idiot!! Downy does make a free and clear type. Walmart, only some WM's though have it.
Good luck honey, keep on taking those baths. Probably a man doc, huh? Wouldn't doubt it, men have no clue what it means to a woman to take a good soak !!!! Have your baths, cut back on Oscar, hehe. gayla

She did end up having the episiotomy, which wasn't nearly as bad as the hours (hours!) my nephew was stuck in the birth canal because my sister was insistent on trying to do everything 100% naturally. Her midwife FINALLY said she thought an episiotomy was necessary, and as soon as she made the cut, out popped my nephew.
Just be aware that it may be an issue when you get there!

I use the White Dove on my face and as Bev describes - my fun parts. Seems to work pretty good. You don't need anything harsh or a deoderant soap down in them there parts!
I checked out a book at the library not too long ago and it was facinating - called "the V book" or something like that. It was an entire book on female problem in the V area written by a GYN and she offers lots of advice of how to deal with problems. I swear it was call the V book or all about your V - it had a big V on the front but I swear it was a legit book.

These may be repeats as I have not read every post in this forever long thread.
*Summer's Eve Femenine wash (sensitive skin) is the best!
*Wash with water (only) and cloth "before" intimacy and with fem. wash afterwards. (I know this may sound like it could ruin a heated moment, but if you're serious about ridding these UTIs, it's worth it and Dr. recommended)
*After you pee, wipe with a downward motion--front to back. NOT from below upwards. Doing that pushes bad stuff back into the urinary hole. (LOL, sorry don't know the actual term for that little hole. )

Good ideas, all of them. The last one was given to me by my doctor -- several times in fact.
I just put Summer's Eve on my grocery list -- as well as All "Free & Clear," Ocean Spray cranberry juice, Downey Free & Sensitive, and Ivory soap.
This is gonna be the last UTI I get!
Thanks again!
