Eats Shoots & Leaves by Lynn Truss is hilarious. I just finished it. It is really only for nerds like me; it's all about the downfall of proper punctuation in the US and the UK. I promise, it's really funny. Light and fast read, too.

Another favourite author is Isabelle Allende - her books are absolutely amazing. I'm planning to get the latest one to read on honeymoon.

Hey, no reading allowed on the honeymoon!

We had a horrible awful no good honeymoon in Mexico. The first night there Eric stepped on a stick that went all the way through his foot, putting him largely off of his feet for the rest of the week. Later that week I got Montezuma's revenge (you can imagine with my IBS how enthusiastic it was). By the end of the week all we could do was lie pathetically next to the pool and read. If we had had no books.... shudder.

I love this book, being reminded of it makes me want to read it again. Yes, it is much better than the movie!!

Anyone suffering from Gas has to read this book!!

Better than the movie??? Wow, that's one of my favorite movies. I guess I have to read this book!! I don't see how it could be as good, though... one of my favorite things about the movie is staring at Johnny Depp...

You've definitely piqued my interest with the gas comment...

Bev, not sure if I remember exactly what happened to those poor children.

If I had driven out there, I would have had serious dreams for months. And goose bumps.

I am a weinie, when I open a book and they start killing people and blood starts to spew. ewwwwww!!

My mom reads those books, give me a good love story any day!

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is pretty good. I LOVE the Harry Potter books! I'm a huge children's books advocate and collector, though I never liked to read when I was a kid. I'm so upset that I'm going to be out of the coutnry until June 6 and can't go see the movie on opening day!
