Hello,
Long time reader first time question.
I suffer from IBS-C. A relative who also suffers from the same has sent me info on a company called Mannatech which uses "natural" supplements called glyconutrients (eight essential sugars that the body needs) for various medical problems. IBS being one.
My relative has bought $1400 worth of productfor the next 12 months for her IBS, which she says has been dramatically helped, as well as other medical issues. Does anyone know about this company and its supplements. Is it magic bullet or a scam.

Hi JPC,
I don't have an answer for you, but a suggestion. Why not post this in the IBS Diet Board instead of here in the Living Room. You'll get more responses. The Living Room is where we just chit-chat about non-IBS issues and play games.
Your question is a good one and bears attention; I think you'll get more action in the IBS Diet Board.
Good luck, Bev

Yes, please, as Bev mentioned, post this one on the diet board...
But I have to tell you in all honestly, I'm laughing at this one.....what a sham as far as I'm concerned...(New Millemium shake oil?).....$1,400 for some various types of sugars??....maple, honey, date, molasses, rice, and a few more that are simple/complex sugars with trace minerals in them????? That's what it boils down to in my eyes!! You do the research, and get back to us, ok?...I'll bet that's all it really is...
Sheesh, I think I'm in the WRONG business..........
