They turn bathrooms into washrooms,
miles into meters,
fahrenheit into celcius,
garbage disposals into garber-raiders,
and riverbanks into foreshores.

They're an interesting culture, EH?

My American friends always bug me about saying Pop. They say it's called Cola in the US, not pop...don't know if that's just them or another Canadian/American thing.

They do call it pop in certain parts of the states. In my part (NJ), they call it soda. My fiance, who's from WV, calls it pop. Of course the correct term is soda!

I always laugh when I here soda...that seems soooo old fashioned to me. We call it pop where I'm from!!!

i think they call it "pop" in the mid-west.

i just call it "coke," which infuriates the pepsi fans. (who cares? pepsi tastes yucky to me!)

here in the MidAtlantic, people refer to it as "soda."
