Hey... we are going to dinner with my family tonight for my Sister's bday---- she is an April Fools baby  so, we MIGHT not make it home in time to watch American Idol. So, if someone could post here who got eliminated TOMORROW morning (so it does not spoil it just in case I happen to get home and read this 1st)......LOL

LOL! Oh, she's the other Hawaiian girl! I was talking about the girl with the ever-present flower! I love HER but missed her last night. I gave up and went to bed.
I saw John Stevens. He just doesn't have a voice that goes well with any other kind of style. He's locked into his Dean Martin genre! But I bet he gets a contract out of this!
What about that John Peter Paul and Mary kid? What do you think of him?

yes, I love the flower girl  I personally think it will be her, George, & Fantasia (sp?) til the end......
I agree on John Stevens..... he sounds the SAME on everything.... and last night did not sing one note on key!
John Peter Paul and Mary kid just did not do it for me last night.....the last 3 performances have not been to great but the one before that.....WOW!!

Unfortunately, Shell, I think you're right on. My very fave is John Stevens. I LOVE his crooning, like Frank Sinatra in his early years, but he is just so out of his element with country music (last week) and this week's motown. I have to say I did not vote for him last night, as much as I like him, his performance just was not up to par.
RATS!
Also, as knock-dead gorgeous as Camile Velasco is, she didn't cut it either. Yeah, Shell, I think you're right on the money.
You know who I voted for? Amy. Do you guys remember many weeks ago when she did, "I am Your Woman"? She sent goosebumps up and down my spine. I was blown away. She hasn't done that to me since, but I thought her performance last night was incredible. (I also LOVE her personality! Now, having said that, as wild and wacky as she is -- and I love wild and wacky! -- that red hair has got to go.)

You better watch what you say about John Stevens. He is from our area and is friends with my cousin. Just to let you know.
I'm just joking. You can say what you want about John. I don't think he is that great. I actually agree it will be Camille or John. I do have to tell you I heard rumors that a girl from John's school called 300 times to get him into the competition. I actually will think it is sad if he makes it to the end. I will say I think it will be Camille.

Yeah... I like LaToya (even with the cat on her head...LOL @ Simon)... I liked her hair beter last night.... I told Shane that before Simon even made that comment.

Hey guys, I just watched the show and wanted to chime in. We thought that LaToya and Jasmine did the best and that John (sorry Bev) and Camille were the worst. But I personally think Jennifer Hudson will be voted off as she is both not that great a singer and completely nondescript... she doesn't stand out amongst the other performers. I guess we'll see in an hour!

No, no, no, AMY was the best last night; even Simon liked her! Poor John. I'm absolutely beside myself over his performance! I'm hoping he gets another chance next week.
I'm trying to remember Jennifer Hudson -- was she the one last week who Simon told, "pack your bags"?
WHADDYA mean in one hour? We got 3-1/2 hours to go!

Not here we don't... it's on right now! I won't give anything away. We Tivo it and then watch it in fastforward so we just see the results anyway.
And I don't like Amy... I don't think she's nearly as funny and wacky as she thinks she is, and I agree on her hair Bev. A longer style with more natural color would be much more flattering!

What do you mean you don't want to give it away? You totally did. I read it and said okay bye Amy. I like Amy. She's good. I told you this area would out vote just to keep John in. You know John deserved to go. Camille was even safe. Ouch, this is not good.
BTW, I just givng you a hard time. I could care less if I know ahead of time.  I was afraid my post came across differently then I meant. Sorry if it did.

Hey Torbetta... the results didn't air until fifteen minutes after I posted that. Check the time stamp. I posted at 7:45 my time, the results don't come until the last three minutes of the show, or 7:57. It was just a coincidence. I meant what I said. I had no intention of posting the results.

Yeah, Shell. I agree. So does hubby. John was totally shocked; he expected to get the axe. (Thankfully he didn't; I'm hoping next week he'll blow everyone away with his fabulous CROONING -- he needs to avoid all other kinds of music.)

i personally think that that guy ...the one who looks like a hobbit and can't sing....should have been voted off ages ago!
what is up with him constantly getting saved?!?!
and i like jennifer hudson...i don't get why simon has it out for her...i think she has good presence on stage.
i missed the show, but i can't BELIEVE LaToya was in the bottom 3!
i think Diana, John, and Camille should go....they must have tons of family members calling in cause they are always safe.
these shows always get me so frustrated but i keep watching anyway.....teeheee

OMG! Julee, you are so funny! I totally think that John Peter Lewis looks like a hobbit!! I've been saying that since the beginning! short with little curly brown hair.

I don't like John Stevens that much (red-haired guy), he is so boring of a singer. I do think he seems like a really nice guy, though. Camille has an awesome voice when she sings Lauryn Hill songs, but she seems so nervous and shaky.
I really liked Amy Adams and think she has a great voice.
I also really think Latoya is an amazing singer, and so is Jennifer Hudson .

Hello you people. Where is the Fantasia love? Is there no one else out there? I absolutely love her, but of course she is from NC. I also love George. He is awesome. I think the red head is adorable and incredibly talented, but in the wrong competition. I think the only reason Camille is still in is because all of Hawaii is voting.
I have to admit though that i am absolutely ADDICTED to this show. I have had meetings during the show both nights this week and made sure that I had the tv on at both of them. It's good to know that I'm not the only one.
Now the really sad thing about it is that Survivor is on tonight and I have another meeting. I can't turn the tv on at this one. I must record. LOL How sad is my life???

I completely understand not liking her attitude if you're not from NC. She is just having fun. Alot of people here got upset last week when she and Simon went at it, but it was just fun bantering. I think it is kind of funny, but I do understand.

I personally can't stand Fantasia. Every time she gets through singing she looks out at the audience with a smug look on her face like she rules the world. And when she sings I don't find it to be singing, I think it's more of screaming lol I mean she has talent because I can't do anything like that, but I just don't think she's that great ya know?
I think Amy might have a chance at country if she tries hard enough! She rocked on country night! She'd probably have to dye her hair to a "normal" color, though! They should have gotten John off and kept her on, however I think.
I want Diana to win! I love her style and I love that she's 16 and has come so far! I'd love it if a 16 year old won! Plus she's so sweet and loves what she does.
Anyays, those are my opinions that I hope didn't offend anybody!!

Jessica, you're not going to offend anyone. We're all entitled to our opinion. So here's mine:
I totally agree with you about Fantasia. I can appreciate a strong voice, but when the screaming begins, I hit the mute!
I also agree about Amy. As I said before, the one night when she sang "I Am Your Woman," chills ran up and down me. I love to hear her sing. I voted for her -- until I heard John.
I ALSO want a 16 year-old to win -- but not Diana. (Isn't she also a screamer?) I know I'm in the minority here, but my very fave is John. Okay, okay (I can hear you now!), he can't sing all kinds of music (his country was terrible, forgot the lines, and Tuesday's performance was his WORST!), but when he does his schtick with the crooning, it's GOOOOD, reminds me of Frank Sinatra in his early years (when he had his original voice). It's a magnificent sound, as Simon said, "unique," and when he gets a recording contract -- and he will, whether he wins or not (and I'm sure he will not), I'm gonna be first in line to buy his records.
Can't wait 'till next week!
Now, did I offend anyone? I mean, you can't help being wrong -- when I'm right.

Well, I never considered Diana a screamer.....but maybe she could if she tried? I dunno. I'm glad someone else agrees with me about Fantasia!! John is alright but he could be better. He does have a great voice!
I like John Peter Lewis (sp?) as well! His voice is good and he's not bad lookin either! I think Camille could go probably since she's not very powerful.
Wow I can't believe it's almost 1:00 in the morning here! I guess I'd better go hit the sack!
