"Fall" as in autumn? Or as in "to fall for someone"?

Autumn. "Fall" makes me think of things like the leaves changing colour and wood fires and pumpkins. Fun stuff!

That's funny! lol I never did like fall. I thought it was so plain. Autumn is so pretty! Detailing (like as in a car?) is just putting in new things (that usually cost a lot) to fix up your car and make it look really fancy. lol I love Americanisms! It's a funny word!

Yeah Morven, are there any Americanisms that are weird to you? Scottishisms (long word to spell!) would be fun!

i cant think of any at the moment! Where i come from originally is a seaside town called dunoon,in argyllshire. It used to have a US navy base there, and so naturally we had lots of american kids come to our school, there was a whole community,we just intergrated,it was brilliant,so i guess i'm kinda familiar with americanism as i grew up with them! There was a supermarket in the town, that imported all american food, and you could only use it if you were employed by navy base for some reason, anyway,i used to love going to my friends houses, and trick or treating, coz we'd get stuff like hershey bars, reeses cups, and oreo(sp) cookies, that were so new to us,ah,the memories!!!!

Oh yeah! I love Reese's!! They're my favorite candy! I never did like Oreo's much, so I was teased about being un-American when I was younger!
