Just curious of how many people were getting married! It seems like a lot from reading posts. Mine is less than 5 months away at June 19th!

Is that what one does in a "loo"?

What! We sure are getting our languages crossed! I must start making a note of all the strange words so I can start a mini-dictionary!
Anyway... My hen "do" (that's an "event")... As I can't get drunk, I'm having a chilled out weekend with my friends and my and Si's Mums. Day at a Spa...Dinner in a nice restaurant...Chilling out in the garden...Heaven!

Oh my goodness! My best friend got married in August and she let her crazy friends plan her hen night. Even though what you just described sounds exactly what she would have wanted, we did the traditional club hopping, stupid devil horns wearing night. The funny thing is, even though I was the only one married and the one wearing the most clothing, I still got hit on the most! And all of the attempts were based around the guy saying, "So you're American, huh?" Which is such an original pick up line.
I envy you your hen night thing, so, so much.

I got engaged last November and am getting married July 10 this year. I have my dress, by bridesmaid dresses, hall, church, florist, caterer, cake... and many many ideas.
Actually, here's a link to my dress. I CANNOT wait to wear it!!!! http://www.dcformals.com/wedding_gowns/ms/ms4/Courtney/courtney.html

My hubby and I were married on the 4th of July. We'll have our 6th wedding anniversary this year and this year is our 10th together. Getting married on the 4th was great! We had a BBQ reception in a park and then enjoyed the fireworks display that evening. (And those weren't the only fireworks! wink wink nudge nudge ) Now every anniversary we always say that the fireworks displays are all for us. and everyone celebrates where ever we go.

Wow. What a dress! You mst be so excited. My dress is strapless too, but simpler - I'm only tiny so anything at all fussy looks ridiculous! I adore my dress - it makes me feel like a princess. Though I've got to lose a few pounds so it fits perfectly (breathing is optional atm !).

Ooh, I did pick a good day! ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
I definitely feel like a princess in my dress. Best thing about it is the corset (I call it shoelace!) back. I figure that I have a little wiggle-room in case I don't lose the five pounds that I want to lose before the big day. Plus, I'm tied so tightly to that thing that NOTHING would have the nerve to ... pop out!
Happy planning!
