What would you do with your lottery winnings?

I was sure we did this question before, but I did a search and nothing!
I just gave the boys a dollar to go towards our lottery tickets. The pot here is worth $20 million! I know that's not much compared to your Power Ball Lottos.
But it made me think: What would I do with $20 million?
I would:
- Pay off my truck, DH's truck and our house.
- Actually gotta be honest, I would sell our house and we would be getting a new house!
- I would buy my sister a new car
- I would pay off my dad's house and truck.
- I would put $1 million in the bank because I heard that you can live off the interest alone on that much
- And lastly I would buy myself a craft store (probably with a shop out the back for hubby to do his construction stuff)
What would you all do?

I'd pay everything off and I'd move far, far away from NJ. Where, I don't know yet, but far, far away. 
And the same as you - put $1 million in the bank to live off the interest.

20 million is a lot of money!! I'm sure(fingers crossed) that I have the winning ticket here Lana_Marie!!  I would buy a new house, 3 new vechicles,(me my hubby and daughter),give up my x-guard job)let someone else stand in the cold  ) give my in-laws a trip to a sunny place, invest most of the money, 1 million in bank live off interest and buy a RV and travel. with the RV there is a tiolet,YAY no stopping. I could travel anywhere in America!! Plus I could send my daughter to Medical School without thinking of the cost! Sue

Pay off all our bills......, buy a multi-acre ranch in Montana, take a trip to Alaska with Hubby, buy my parents a new house (they need one), make sure our families were comfortable....retire! Then I would quit dreaming and get back to work! ha!

Let's see, after taxes that would be, what, like 10 mil?
Ok, so pay off house, car, and Eric's student loans.
Replace garage doors, ugly carpet with hardwood, landscape and furnish house.
Pay off sister's and brother-in-law's college. Buy dad a Mercedes. Buy Mom something expensive she wants.
Place large sum in bank.
Donate large sums to Recreation Unlimited, Fund for the Animals, and alma mater (get them to name scholarship after me).
Plan trips to visit best friend in England and go to New York for a week to see shows and buy expensive clothing.
Go back to life as normal. 
Hmmm... not terribly exciting.

I would move to England (no, china, not copying-I've been planning on at least going there for college!)then I would give my mom some money for my sister's college, then I would open my own church since I can't stand mine. After that, I'd use the rest to go build houses and take care of little kids in poor countries. It's all good

I was at school in England for a year. I went to University of Bristol. I liked a lot of it a lot, but I wouldn't live in England again. I didn't realize how much I appreciated being an American until I tried living somewhere else. I still like to visit though... I was just there this past August. Everyone should study abroad if they get the chance to.

I plan to! I'm going to try and go somewhere in England for at elast one semester. However (and no offense to the Brits on this board since I know that none of them are like this! I love you all!!!! ) did they think you were snobby? My friend went to London and told me that some of the people there thoguht she was stuck up because she was an American. Did you have any experiences like that?

It depends, person to person individually. Like I said, my best friend is British, though she was raised in Belgium. Taken as a WHOLE yeah, they hate Americans. Every single week in the school paper there were at least two editorials on why Americans suck, and that gets old fast. Individually, I wouldn't say they're any more snobby than Americans. I found it hard to make friends cold, but when I got involved with activities, or my British friends introduced me to their other friends it wasn't a problem at all. They have to get over the idea of you as an ugly GWB loving flag waving American, and get to know you. That takes some work. Now, my friend Angela, who is Korean, she had it a lot worse than me. She faced continuous, loud, racism. That sucked.

hi LANA: ARE YOU KIDDING! PAY OFF ALL MY LOANS AND BILLS, INVEST A LOT ( i mean lot of it). and then travel and have fun with it. My hubby and I were talking about what we woukld do with20 m. from the super 7 jackpot.
