What's your favorite country song title? Don't like country music? Well, too bad, because the titles alone are great entertainment!

My favorite USED to be: "I Want To Be A Cowgirl, But OOOH, I'm Scared Of Cows!" But I just heard another that has it beat -- and we can all relate to this one, folks:

"I Bought The Cow, And Now I'm Lactose Intolerant!"

I love to listen to country! It's just nice to hear something different and you are right there are some crazy song titles. How about "she thinks my tractor's sexy". Oh my that's a good one.

You really listen to S....Kickin' music way up there? LOL....Guess it's not selective and hits every where......

Now tell me lady, who sings these 2 CLASSIC(?) country (cow) songs you're talking about................Lorretta? Dolly? Patsy? Dottie? K.T.? Who? Somehow I missed those cow songs............(but DO love the titles)
No, honestly, you're right, the titles are entertaining................Let's see, I guess I like.... mainly BECAUSE of the title a Mary C. Carpenter song.......Sometimes you're the Windshield, sometimes you're the Bug............

BUT, being a Buffett gal myself (not quite a parrot head, but close) my favorite....and I don't think I can even write it here in it's entirety is:
Let's get Drunk and S_ _ _ _!!!!
Jimmy wrote it after hearing a Conway Twitty song, Let's go all the Way, and thought, "what the hey, I'll try my version".....It was banned from radio stations for years.
Really...personally I DON'T care for CW, but like you, being a vintage babe we just know all this (important?) stuff.....right?
ROTFL......You Line Dance toooo????
Kandee

Don't believe I just wrote this ...

The only radio station we get here is country so I've
learned to love it. I was in an airplane in Denver
a couple years ago and I put on the headphones and
there was a guy singing, "you got bugs your wifes got
bugs don't come near me I don't want your bugs". I
almost fell out of my seat laughing. My guy (who was
born in Colorado) told me thats "real" country music.

In about a week we are going to a concert with Buddy
Jewell and Trace Adkins. I'm not sure
who Adkins is but I love Buddy. When I got the tickets
a few months ago I was really excited about going. It's
an overnight trip, now with this IBS being so bad
lately I'm very anxious about going. IBS really sucks
sometimes!

WHOA! For someone who doesn't care for country music, you sure know a lot about it, Girlfriend! Actually, I got that song title from Ellen Degeneres -- she has a segment of her new show (which I love!) called "Country or Not" in which members of the studio audience are supposed to guess whether song titles are really country song titles or not -- and that one WAS, believe it or not!

"Sometimes You're the Windshield, Sometimes You're the Bug"? I LOVE IT!

Bev

P.S.: Line dancing? What's that?

Line dancing is pretty fun! Everyone lines up in a straight line and do a bunch of country dance moves (heal, toe, dosie-do LOL) while staying in the line. The country bar I go to has line-dancing lessons an hour before it starts getting busy.
