Lisa, The Lovely Bones does open tomorrow. I am taking Mom and we are going to see a matinee. I'll touch base and let you know what I think.

Keep me posted!!! I'll be waiting until it's on DVD, but I'm still anxious to hear if it does the book justice.

Lisa,I saw it this afternoon with Mom. I loved it! I read the book awhile ago, so I can't remember if it sticks exactly to the book. You would think it would be really dark, but Peter Jackson does a good job with lifting us up, too. And I have to say, Mark Wahlberg (sp?), is really good in this. Some movies you just have to see at the theatre and this is one of them. The Heaven sequences are great. They are a little different, but I can relate since I am not a religious person, but more on the spiritual side.
