Vesicare for over active bladder? My doc has given me a prescription and I am a little nervous to try this. I am doing research on line, but thought I would ask here to see if anyone has any experience with this medication.
Thanks

I can't help directly, but I know I had patients is practicum on it without issues...
it can cause dry mouth/throat, and possibly constipation according to my drug book as some of the higher occurrence side effects.. There is also a possible interaction with it and grapefruit juice.. other than that, I don't see much.. It does say to take it with food/milk to lower GI distress possibilities..

No, but in college, I was given an Rx for something called "urispas" What a double insult that was, having to have the problem as a 20-something and then picking up my bottle of "You're a spaz!" Didn't do a thing for me either. I think drug makers have gotten a little more sophisticated with the naming thing. Hope yours works out for you!

Hawkeye - you are too funny! I am grateful that the names are better on some of the drugs. I thought as I dropped the RX off at the pharmacy what they must think of me based on some of the prescriptions I have had filled there.
I haven't started taking it yet but I think I will start tomorrow. Hopefully it will work with no adverse side effects.
