Hello everyone, I just wanted to post my experiences with work recently. Now, I've been pretty stable for about 6 months, but still have abit of anxiety about getting sick at work. I work as a music/play teacher for kids up to age 5, but never have had a steady M-F 9-5 job. I always had a day off during the week (at least one) which allowed me to fall back on that day in case I was feeling ill. Well, last week I started a new position with them. I take my classes into preschools all throughout my town (meaning some 30-40 min drives). I do this 3 days a week along with being in the classroom 2 days a week. So, that is a full 5 day week. I was pretty worried about it, but last week was a breeze! The work is so enjoyable and busy that the days fly by. I did not have any attacks or even moments or worrying. If any of you remember, I posted a few years ago about never being able to make it to work b/c of being sick/fearing being sick/making myself sick from worrying...etc... And now look at me! It's great. And to top it all off, I have a friend opening a music studio and I am going to be teaching there Saturdays and some afternoons. I happily took this on and honestly am hardly worried about it! So, it did take me YEARS to get to this point...but when I was at my lowest and thought this could never happen, I would have loved to read that someone did accomplish this. Hope everyone has a lovely belly day...I'm off to go shopping!

Congrats!! Isn't it a great feeling to not be sick at work or because of work!! I'm the same right now. I changed jobs in November from a super-stress to a lower stress environment and I am absolutely loving it. I no longer have to worry that if I did have an attack at work that I would be repremanded by my (former) bosses. Or teased about how often I visit the bathroom.
I'm glad to hear you and your tummy are doing well! Find any good bargins shopping? My highlight was Tide on sale at Walmart!
