Oh man.. don't get me started on Santa Claus. I feel sort of bad for my kids because they will never sit on Santa's lap, unless a family member dresses up. I think it's really creepy that there are people out there who purposely dress up as a fictional character so little kids will sit on their lap. My aunt always wanted pictures of the kids on Santa's lap, so I always made sure the baby (whoever was youngest at the time) had a full diaper so they wouldn't sit on there long. LOL
I know there are some people out there who "do it for the kids", but you just never know. Okay - there's my rant. LOL
Same thing with the Easter Bunny!

I know what you mean. We don't do Santa. Tomorrow is my husband's work kids party. Now that is a mouth full. They call the kids up one at a time and if they want to sit on Santa's lap they can. It is a small company so my husband knows Santa. One year it was one of our friends. Maybe he will do it again.
I guess the rumor is the girls are both getting a Barbi. Tory said one had wings which means it could be swan princess. They both want it so we are trying to hold of the fights now. The threat is if either has a temper tantrum we leave and they won't be able to go next year. I also added they can play with each others toy. They are pretty good about sharing. We try to present gifts with the idea that they are really for both. It usually works. They know they belong to one person but they can play with it. I am rambling now. Sorry.

Aw - that's cool about your husband's party. Yeah, if I knew the Santa that would be okay. Otherwise - ick, shuddering.. LOL
Hope it doesn't turn into Barbie War tomorrow! Good luck!
