Hi,
Well, tomorrow is my very first field trip as a teacher and I'm a little nervous. I have had ulcerative colitis since 2003 and for the most part I'm stable. I'm just nervous about the whole yellow bus thing for an hour there an hour back in traffic. I would just like some good vibes sent my way. I'm taking immodium tomorrow just to be safe and will be eating very safely.
Thanks for the support. Jenn
p.s> on the bright side the kids are super excited I'm coming as I'm not their homeroom teacher but teach them social studies and science.

Your post caught my eye. I also teach science and social studies-5th grade. What grade do you teach? I am glad your tummy behaved and you had a great time. I worried about a long trip back in May because I had been very unstable, but I made it and had a great time. It also gave me a lot of confidence to get out of the house for more than just work.

Hi,
I'm a prep release teacher so I teach a bit of everything. Right now I'm teaching Gr.8 English, some Gr.3 English and Gr.4 Social Studies and Science.
The trip I went on today was with the Gr.4s for Social Studies, we went to the museum.
