I can't believe they kept him in that godforsaken hospital for an entire week, but he's finally coming back home. His blood is VERY thin, thanks to the stupid nurses overmedicating him like crazy, so I have to keep an eye on him and watch for bleeding... but man, I am SO glad to not have to spend all day, every day, in that hospital now!!

Of course, he starts his second round of chemo on Monday, and who knows - it might start this cycle all over again. But whatever - I'm just glad for a break from the hospital, and to not be alone in this big creepy house anymore! (Did I ever mention it's haunted? It's true...!)

Now we just have to work on getting my stepmother out of that place and into a rehab facility, so she can learn how to walk again. Maybe in the next few days...

Hope everyone is doing well! I read every day, but don't often have time to reply, so... *hugs* all around, for everyone who needs 'em. And thanks again for all the prayers and good thoughts!

That is some good news! I hope that your father and stepmother both continue to improve. And I like haunted houses ...

I'm so glad your dad's coming home. There's no one better than Dad at keeping ghosties and ghoulies and things that go bump in the night at bay.

Take care.
