I'm so sorry about Chloe. That must have been horrible to see it happen in front of you. I know you must be hurting. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sad to hear this! Did the car that hit her stop? Poor Sissy. I'm sorry you had to lose her in such a way.
At least she had you and Will and was able to lead happy life. How is your other cat doing? Does he notice she's gone?
Big hugs, Michele.

The guy didn't stop at first but as we were walking back to our house with her, he did pullback around and apologize. It really wasn't his fault, he was going a bit too fast but she ran out right in front of him. He seemed truly sorry but I couldn't say too much to him at the time. I thought it was nice that he came back though.
Big Boy has been walking around meowing, like he is calling for her. I'm sure he misses her as well. I kept waiting for her to come bounding across the yard this morning when I took Oliver out, the dogs even seem to miss her even though she was never very nice to them.

You poor thing. You really did not need to see that! I know she appreciated the comfort in the end. I'm so sorry for your loss.

It just so sad. I'm trying not to cry and remember her in her happy times. Its amazing how attached we get to our little critters. I can't imagine what people go through when they lose a "real" child.
We went to bed early last night and left the windows open. It was nice and cool this morning and it was raining pretty hard and I always love the sound of the rain. Will and I cuddled with the two dogs and big boy and it was nice. We lingered in bed a little longer than we should have but I still made it to work on time.
I'm going to go to the garden nursery this weekend and see if they have any garden stones left. I found a cute kitty shaped one when Coco kitty died, hopefully I can find something equally as nice to mark Sissy's resting place in my garden.
Thanks for all the love and hugs, they are much appreciated.
