Speaking of Christamas presents

I am so excited!  I just got some of my husband's Christmas presents in the mail. He is going to be so shocked. I bought him these books. They are unfinished tales and histories of middle earth. Lord of the Rings.
Question: Should I give one of the books to him now? He just finished a trilogy he was reading and he was starting to read Lord of the Rings again. I know he would love it now. The great qestion of the ages. What do you think?

If you think he will not go out and buy it... then NOPE save it!! But if he is like my hubby... if he wants it.... he will get it.... someone always ends up returning a gift that they got him. LOL

He won't go out and buy it. There are 6 books. Five of the books are in a book set. I was thinking about just giving him the one book. The thing is I kind of what to read Return of the King before we go and see it. I know I won't finish it by then but it would be neat to read some of it. The movies have been part of our anniversary date night the past two years since our anniversary is the begining of Jan. If we can get a sitter sooner we will go in Dec. instead. I can't wait.

I wouldn't give it to him...especially if you are lucky enough to have a man who DOESN'T buy stuff for himself before Christmas.
My husband is pretty good - but I do have to tell him weekly "Don't be buying yourself anything" Or "Check with me first before you go shopping" LOL
I would just wait...he will love it!
PS - You sound like me...When I know my husband will love his gift I get so excited I want to give it to him early!
I love giving gifts..even more than receiving them! LOL
