I was just diagnosed with IBS with diarrhea and lactose intolerance this past week. I also have high cholesterol and hypothyroidism. How can I possibly eat a good way and still drop my cholesterol and take care of my hypothyroidism? Any suggestions would be greatly helpful

Haha! Do this diet...just without soy. It's low fat with virtually no saturated fat, so it's good for cholestrol. Quite a few people on here have thyroid issues as well!

Thank you so much, I appreciate the help. I had no idea how I was going to manage to do this with these two other problems. Have a good day.

I have high cholestrol too and this diet does help because of the low fat intake. I eat oatmeal every morning which is supposed to help lower cholestrol and also watch the trans fats in food.

I have IBS D and Hypothyroidism and lactose is not a part of this diet so not problems. I don't about the cholesterol though. The lactose intolerance sypmtoms may actually be INS symptoms. Just a thought.
