Linz,
I didn't know you were engaged!!!!!!!! That's wonderful! When's the date?
Wow...it sounds like you've done a lot of traveling! I am not familair with the abbreviations you used...where is NSW and SF? Have you been to any other countries?
New England is pretty...is there a particular area you're interested in there? The best time to go, I think, is in the Fall. The leaves are spectacular in the New England area!

Soz Ruchie, I didn't think! SF is San Francisco and NSW is New South Wales. I guess I have done quite a lot of travelling - my Dad's a professional sailor and he's worked all round the world, which is how I got to go to Oz, but I've also got relatives out there. I've been to Ireland, France, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Italy and Greece as well as Australia and the States. Oh... and Scotland and Wales.
I'm getting married next July - I can't wait. It's going to be one hell of a party! And I'm planning to cook Heather's Angel Cookies ! I just hope I can stabilise properly before then - I want to be able to eat my own wedding cake!

Wow! Sounds interesting! My hubby loves sailing...I've never been...but I hope to someday!
I've been to Canada, Israel, Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Plus lots of the States. I LOVE traveling and I hope to do some more one day!
I also got married in July--it was the best party of my life! You're gonna have a blast--I can tell! Word to the wise: Be weary of bustles. Mine fell down and I was dancing on top of it at my wedding--I even feel on it once ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif)

Thanks for the tip! I've actually got my dress already - I found it in a sale down to £90 ($140?) from £300! And it doesn't have a bustle - I've got a big enough bum as it is!
I'd love to go to Canada...or the Caribbean! Travelling is great, even tho flying KILLS me.

I only just read this - you are sooo sweet. If you are ever able to visit Australia you would definately be welcome in my home. I feel as if I know you already.

Hey, Jen, come visit! You'd love it in Ireland....it is soooooooooo beautiful and the people are amazingly friendly and relaxed. I just can't believe I can't drink Guinness anymore. ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif)
England and Scotland are cool too. I've been trying to sort out a trip to Scotland for ages.

I've already got that one covered! I went to Churchill yesterday (The polar bear capital of the world). No polar bears out though as Hudson Bay is still frozen over so they're out hunting. However, it was still -30c with the wind chill ... In April!! The time to go for Polar Bears is from August to October/November.
For me, I don't have one particular place that I'd like to go. Right now (providing Air Canada doesn't go bankrupt cause I get my passes on them), I try and plan my vacations on where I have friends living so that I can crash on the floor. I just need to get the time off to go:
England Ireland Australia Taiwan Switzerland (already been but thought it was awesome)
