There are posts that I made on 4/5/06 missing- has anyone else noticed this? I definitely was online that night at home and posted lots, including my report for 4/5 on the Fitness Board etc but they are all gone...anyone else have any problems?

Sinead, Back on St. Patrick's Day, I thought a whole thread
had disappeared. I swear when I went looking for it, it had!
However, hours later K2 found it somewhere. I just attributed
it to the Leprechauns . -Bob

I remember that Bob.
I also remember typing the word courgettes which is why I know that I posted those things. I'll keep an eye and let you know if they pop up again- I also boasted about my big gym workout and that's gone too!

Yes! I've noticed that, too. Not stuff I've posted, but I've read other people's posts and then when I went back a little bit later to reply, they were gone. I thought that maybe these people were deleting their posts, but that puzzled me because I could have sworn that when you deleted a post, it was just marked *DELETED* and didn't disappear entirely.

I think it only says *deleted* if you delete a post after others have responded. If you delete a post before people respond, it dissapears completely. At least thats what I've found in my experience.

at least a couple of posts that were in the Living Room yesterday have disappeared. I remember one or two from Shelby Jean and I could have sworn there was a post in some thread (maybe the one about Beth?) that talked about what a hard time Anlikerm was having. I noticed that one because I made a mental note to go back and re-read it when I had more time - I was a little confused since I had heard on the Diet Board that she was doing well on her new eating plan.

I'm pretty sure at least one of the Shelby Jean posts was answered (by Bevvy, I think) and once a post is answered I don't think there's any way to delete it totally - that would orphan the responses.

Does anyone else remember those posts or know what happened to them? Or am I, in fact, losing my mind?

That's the discussion on the Diet Board where Beth said Anlikerm was doing well on her new eating plan. What I think is missing is a post about Anlikerm on the Living Room Board where someone said Anlikerm was having a hard time. I guess I over-explained - I was trying to make clear why I was so sure there had been an Anlikerm post on the LR, also.

I don't remember that discussion, it must have been a long time ago?

As far as I know, she is doing well. I received an email from her this morning and she told me again that she is feeling good and that she is eating anything she wants.

She was having dental work done (root canal) and was put on an antibiotic...so that could have thrown her off for a while.

Here's a way you might be able to find these missing posts. Click on your name or whoever you remember posted. It will let you see the persons bio and email. On the bottom it says show all users posts. Go there and go through the posts to see if you can find it. At least that way you would be able to see if it is still showing that there was a post that day. Let me know if that works.
